SAVE ENERGY is a European research project with the objective of reducing energy consumption in government buildings in five European cities: Helsinki, Leiden, Lisbon, Luleå and Manchester. The premise is that up to 20% can be saved in existing buildings by influencing behavior through ICT. The research is subsidized through Innovation Performance Contracts (IPC).
